The Aberdeen Proving Ground Garrison Public Affairs Office provides useful, timely and accurate information about Aberdeen Proving Ground, its facilities, people and missions to the public and members of the news media.
The Public Affairs Office maintains effective two-way communications with APG internal and external audiences establishing and maintaining the information conditions that lead to short- and long-term mission accomplishment.
The Public Affairs staff advises the commander and executes the commander's community relations, media relations, public information and command information programs. The chief, Public Affairs, is the commander's representative as sole release authority, and acts as spokesperson for the commander and the installation.
